Sara Evans

Sarah Sarah Sara SaraSara Evans had only one purpose in life: sing and write country songs. Evans stated to John Meroney, of American Enterprise: "God placed me on this earth so that I could sing." That's what I love and my goal. In addition, Evans wanted to succeed by returning to the traditional country tunes that were brought to life by legendary stars such as Patsy Cline, Hank Snow, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, and Patty Loveless, musicians Evans considers to be among her top influencers. Evans' first success came during the 90s, when a lot of aspiring country singers turned to popular songs. Her debut in 1997, True Lies, was an example. True Lies, though it got a positive review and received nominations from the Academy of Country Music for 1998's top new female artist however, was not able to create any lasting impression. In her next album the 1999 album No Place That Far, Evans accepted a plea from producers who convinced her to update her repertoire, which eventually earned her the acknowledgement she'd longed for since her childhood. Sara Evans was born February 5, 1971, at Columbia, Missouri. Sara Evans grew up in the company of six other siblings.
